THEATERHAUS BERLIN about us
For more than 30 years, theaterhaus berlin has been a production center and networking platform for independent performing arts in Berlin. At two locations – in the central district of Mitte and near the water in the idyllic surroundings of Schöneweide – theaterhaus berlin offers the largest amount of rehearsal spaces in Berlin as well as an inspiring environment for creative production and artistic creation.
STUDIO RENTAL our studios
A total of 58 rooms are available at two locations, which can be hired flexibly on an hourly or daily basis for rehearsals, auditions, readings and presentations.
Our Locations
Mitte
At the Mitte location, we offer a total of 24 rehearsal rooms and an open-air stage, ranging in size from 54 m² to 108 m²
(135 m² studio stage M 003). The rehearsal rooms are equipped in a variety of ways and offer various features, including blackout facilities, mirrors, pianos and dance floors.

Schöneweide
Our Schöneweide location is currently closed for refurbishment. In future, a total of 34 rooms ranging in size from 52 m² to 115 m² and a 218 m² stage will be available. We will keep you up to date on the progress of the refurbishment work and look forward to welcoming you back to Schöneweide in spring 2025.
