European Identity in Transition: Dramatic Reflections in Times of Conflict

The international workshop for directing and dramaturgy “Focal Point” explores artistic, historical and contemporary reflections in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

As part of this theatre project, seven production designs will be developed by theatre makers from Germany and Eastern European countries. These English or German-language production designs will be presented to the public on 22 and 23 February 2025.

As one of the first attempts at dialogue in the cultural field since February 2022, this workshop aims to create a platform for artists and cultural professionals from different countries who wish to express their views on the European historical situation.
